To be healthy you should follow a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood.
Students of grade 4 explored the functions of internal organs and lifestyle choices that contribute to the healthy functioning of our body. Our students got an opportunity to interact virtually with one of the parents, Dr Ashwini Bolij. Dr Ashwini explained in detail what is a balanced diet, why it is important to eat a balanced diet, what should be the actual proportion of all nutrients in our diet. She has also explained the importance of each nutrient to be healthy. Along with healthy food she also shared the importance of the other lifestyle choices like, exercise meditation, and rest. She also explained the working of the digestive system and functions of vital internal organs with day-to-day life examples. Students were very excited and inquired a lot during the guest lecture. She answered all the queries raised during the lecture. Students got to know the functions of internal organs and importance of lifestyle choices to be healthy.
