𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, was organized at 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐛𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 on 16th June to introduce and appreciate the works of poets and poetesses in Marathi literature. The competition was held in three groups with class 6 and 7 as one group, class 8 and 9 as the second group and class 10 as third group.The students studied many veterans and great poets and poetesses of Marathi literature from Kusumagraj, Balakavi, Suresh Bhatt, V. D. Karandikar, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Shanta Shelke, N.D. Mahanor, Indira Sant, B.B Borkar, Mardhekar, Narayan Surve, to Aishwarya Patekar, Soumitra and Sandeep Khare. This competition gave exposure to the students into the rich world of Marathi literature. Students introduced the poets and their contribution along with poem recitation which was rhythemic and beautiful. Shravan Jadhav and Sulochana Chavan were awarded first and second place respectively in the 1st group. Shubham Padvi and Yugandhar Tidke bagged the first and second places respectively in the 2nd group. Samruddhi Patil and Arpita Waghmare won the first and second place respectively in the 3rd group. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the students while selecting the poems. The student audience witnessed a remarkable and lucid presentation of verses and poem during the entire competition which was extremely competitive. Mr. Sarvesh Sable judged the participants. He appreciated the students for their presentations and encouraged students to read. He presented a few Marathi poems with Rap which was enjoyed by the students. The students were guided and supported by their Marathi Teachers Rupali kulkarni and Sandip Holkar.
