The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor, enthusiasm, and national spirit. The National flag was hoisted by PSI Mr. Kalpesh Kumar Chavan, Nashik accompanied by the school faculty and students. Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem and Flag Song. The presence of Grade 1st to 10th students enlightened the patriotic environment. On this occasion the school organized interhouse patriotic song competition under the guidance of Shri. Subhash Dassakar. This competition was judged by Mr. Vishal Date, the versatile singer. All houses enthusiastically sang to the patriotic tones, which rekindled pride in who we are, and what we represent, as a great nation. The Lezim performance added to the patriotic spirit and made everyone tap their feet. Mast. Pranav Garud shared a speech on the ‘Importance of National flag’. The program was concluded with Vande Mataram. The school conducted various activities under the theme of Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav in the preceding weeks. All these activities were based on the tricolor. These activities and competitions were demarcated onto the basis of all grades. The pre-primary students decorated the tricolor with various collage pieces and grains of the color of tricolor; whereas the students of grade 1 to 5 enjoyed the week with the drawing competitions. In the secondary section grade 6 performed jewellery making while grade 7 made portraits of freedom fighters and grade 8 made beautiful Rangolis using tricolors. The students of grade 9 delivered speeches on the history of tricolor and the senior members of the school i.e., grade 10 exhibited tricolor mask painting. Apart from this, the Interhouse Lezim competition was conducted to embrace patriotic spirit within students. Also, the school choir group participated in the Patriotic singing competition held at Parshuram Saikhedkar auditorium.
