26th November is celebrated as the Constitution Day “Samvidhan Divas” to commemorate the day when the Constitution of India was adopted. Various activities highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution were conducted at Rasbihari International School.
During the virtual classes teachers shared videos with the students explaining about the Constitution that lays down the fundamental principles, right, duties and power of the government and the citizens. The teachers also enlightened the students about the formation and adoption of the constitution. The students participated by reciting poems and shared presentation on fundamental rights and duties of citizens and also outlined the meaning of the preamble. During this celebration students realized that in democracy it is our vital responsibility to observe the fundamental duties so that the rights given by the constitution are not violated.
At the conclusion of the programme reading of the preamble and an oath to abide by the constitution was taken up by all student and staff members through virtual meet.
