    ‘Swar -Raas  the  Musical fest’

    “Music is the greatest communication in the world. There is no better language than music in any number of languages in the world. Music is the language that whole world understands. The true beauty of music is that they connect people. “

    A mesmerizing musical tour “SwarRaas – the Musical fest” presented by the Rasbiharian artists on the 7th of December 2018 marked a memorable evening in the life of every spectator.

    More than 430students performed various songs and dances to highlight the glimpses of various states of India and its culture. Audience travelled all through Kerala to Kashmir and explored the vibrant highlights of India.

    The Event was inaugurated by famous Kathak artist ShrimatiSumukhiAthani, a faculty member of  KKWagh Performing Arts college. She appreciated the theme, performances of students and the efforts taken by school staff, parents and students. The tiny-tots had live performances of the songs and dances. They began the evening with a divine Sholk and a prayer. The year 2018-19 marks the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, grade 4 and 5 presented “ De di hameazadi’ as a tribute to our beloved “Father of the Nation”. The journey took the audience through festivals and multicultural diversity by singing and dancing on various songs in different Indian languages like Bengali, Malayalam, Kokani, Rajasthani, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarathi, Assamesse, Kannada and Marathi by all students from Nursery to grade 10. “It was really amazing to witness the spirit of enthusiasm and the quality of language precision in all the performers”  said the parents.

    Miss. Pari Dave, Miss. Diya Gujarathi, Miss. AnushwaraVijaykumar, Miss. ShraddhaMalode, Miss. Chinmayee Kulkarni, Miss. SanchitaWeljali, Mast. KrushnaPatil  and Mast RohitMalode these bunch of artists led the journey through their act.

    The students expressed their gratitude towards their Music teachers Mr.SubhashDassakar ,MrsShreyashiRai,  Mrs.Zahira Shaikh and the Dance teacher Mr.KevalGujarathi for their guidance and support. The creative art team was guided by Mr.SomanathDharbale.

    It was an evening which showcased a wonderful fusion of energy devotion, gratitude and excellence.
