World Water Day is an annual United Nations (UN) observance day held on 22 March that highlights the importance of fresh water. World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. A core focus of World Water Day is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal : water and sanitation for all by 2030. Primary students observed ‘world water day’ by singing rhymes and songs on importance of water and saving water. Students of grade 3 to 5 also created posters on theme of ‘Save Water’ to create awareness and appreciate water as a precious resource.
