    β€œEvery child is a different kind of flower and all together makes this world a beautiful garden.”

    November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889, he was also known as Pandit Nehru. Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular among children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.

    A day marking childhood, and to make this event a memorable one for our students at Rasbihari International School, Children’s Day was celebrated on 14 November 2022 in the school premises. The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. The celebration began with the morning assembly, where songs were sung and played by music sir Mr.Subhash Dassakar. A special program was set up for the children by the primary and secondary teachers for their children. The program began by a kathak performance by Ragini Kulkarni. Under the guidance and direction of our beloved Hindi teacher Mrs.Ragini Mishra, Hasya kavi sammelan was presented on student’s life. Students enjoyed the kavi sammelan. A skit was presented under the able direction of Shubham Landge where students relished each moment from the skit. The day was filled with teachers singing Songs, presenting Skits, dance performances exclusively for RIS students. Teachers welcomed the students with a greeting card.
