The School Picnic is a short but lovely experience that engages the teachers and students into a world of fun. In short, it is an occasion that we all look forward to. This year Rasbihari International School planned one day trip to Bhandardhara for the students of grade 3 to 5. The students were extremely excited to reach the destination. All the students kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue. We had a mesmerizing view of the nature from the bus. They were delighted to see the glimpse of Wilson dam.
Students were amazed to see the Umbrella waterfall view point and garden. Randha waterfall was the bonus for children. It is the 3rd largest waterfall in entire Maharashtra. We also visited the Ghorapada Devi Temple which is located close to the Randha waterfalls.
Students enjoyed the beauty of the nature and made connection with various units like landforms, biodiversity, habitat, etc.
At the end of the day, everyone had a big smile on their faces indicating they had had a great fun.
