Hymn Recitation Competition held at Rasbihari International School with great enthusiasm …..
The hymn competition was held with great enthusiasm at Rasbihari International School. The students responded spontaneously even though it was a virtual event! The competition was held in two groups viz., group A for 6th and 7th class and group B for 8th and 9th class. The students presented videos of the psalm in both Marathi and Sanskrit languages.
They confidently performed verses from Hanuman Chalisa, Ganapati Atharvashirsha, Mahalakshmi Ashtak, Srirenuka Ashtak, Kalbhairavashtak, Pragyavivardhana Stotra and Bhagavad Gita.
The students were assessed by Mrs. Shreyasi Rai and Ishwari Dasakkar on the basis of language, confidence, body language, fluctuations in voice with pure and correct pronunciation.Ms. Arya Pathak and Mst. Shubham Padvi bagged the first and second places respectively in Group A. Ms. Samrudhi Patil from Class VIII bagged the first place and while Ms. Shreya Nirgide,Mst. Aditya Mhasne and Ms. Pragati Thoke from grade IX bagged the second position. The event was conducted under the guidance of Marathi teacher Mrs. Rupali Kulkarni.
