Secondary students of Rasbihari International school offered their tribute to Sarojini Naidu on her birth anniversary. February 13 is also observed as National Women’s Day. Her work as a poet earned the title- “Nightingale of India” by Mahatma Gandhi. To honour the Nightingale of India, Ms. Vaidehi Kolhe from Grade 6 recited a poem written by Sarojini Naidu. Students of Grade 7 wrote articles on the contribution of Sarojini Naidu’s in freedom struggle and shared their article in the class. Ms. Anushka Deore from Grade 8 gave speech on the life of Sarojini Naidu.
