Rasbihari International Grade 8 students took the opportunity to express their love and respect for all the mothers ,teachers, aunties, and all other extended members of Rasbihari family to show gratitude and respect towards them. This event was completely managed and planned by the students. The students conducted the programmes taking complete ownership right from deciding the programmes to implementing them on the final day. Students planned dance, drama,speeches,monologues of women achievers etc for the day. They also arranged music and other programmes for them. Parents were very impressed with the entire execution of the events and gave wonderful feedback about the programmes. Even our male teachers made the women’s day special by organising a dance session, an art workshop for the art lovers and a music session for the song lovers. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by the parents and the teachers. There was a guest lecture taken by Dr. Poonam Bhadange who is a gynaecologist and shared the health and hygiene tips that women and teenagers need to follow during their monthly cycles. It was quite informative and educating. The event ended with the students distribution of sapling of Tulsi as a token of love.
