Every year literacy day is celebrated on 8th September globally to raise awareness and remind people of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights. On 7th September, RIS library club members planned and executed programs so as to create awareness about the importance of Literacy and Multilingualism. They performed a skit that fostered, how our world is rich and diverse with about different living languages, which are instruments for communication, engagement in lifelong learning, and participation in society and the world of work. Later on the quiz was conducted by the club members wherein the audience have to identify the language. Students promoted books and the importance of reading in the school assemblies.
