    National Reading Month-2020

    Rasbihari International School’s Two Students  win the 3rd Prize in Essay Writing competition at the National Level.

    Rasbihari International School’s grade 9th students Ms. Unnati Sinha and Kasturi Jadhav have won the 3rd Prize in an essay writing competition at the National level. As a part of the National Reading Month-2020 organized by P N Panicker Foundation in collaboration with Ministry of Human Resource Development and National Digital Library of India, along with Essay Writing, Art- Open Art and Quiz Competitions were held at Rasbihari International School. From 19th June  to 18th July 2020,  series of activities were conducted for the students for the whole month. Library Teacher Ms. Mitali Bhavsar shared videos which explained the importance of reading, featuring 10 all time famous and favorite children books. A story named “The girl who hated books” was shared and all the students took an oath to continue reading and enhance their language skills. Students from grade 1st to 10th actively participated in all the various activities conducted during this period.  Students shared their reading experience during the lockdown. The enthusiasm  to share  their learning from the books read by them was evident  in their online classes. This indicated that virtual classes did not stop the children from participating in various reading activities. The Principal and the teachers motivated the students to participate in the activities and encouraged students to inculcate the habit of reading. At Rasbihari International School,  reading has been always a priority in the teaching learning journey of every child.
