International Yoga Day
Students were guided by Ms. Rutuja Masrani, the yoga expert who has completed her MA in Yogashastra and works as Yoga teacher since last 8 years. She was supported by Mr.Meghal Masrani. They explained the importance of yoga Asans and Meditation. Ms. Rutuja Masrani said, “Yoga is one of the oldest practices in the world, being able to improve our spiritual, mental and physical health. Originating from India, yoga is practiced nowadays all over the world” Students practiced Asans that could help them in the physical and mental development. Primary students were guided by Ms. Yashshree Desai, Rasbihari school yoga teacher. The session began with the “Omkar” chant. The purpose and benefits of each Asans were explained. All the students were thoroughly involved in the yoga session.
