Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π and it is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. Grade 6 Students prepared presentations on discovery of Pi and created poems. Grade 7 Students demonstrated about the reason to celebrate pi day on 14th March, they also shared some information of different types of Pi foods. Grade 8 students made videos and presentations to explain the meaning and importance of pi. Student practically demonstrated and found the value of pie using hands on activities. Students concluded practically that the ratio of the circumference and diameter of any circle is constant which is called as pie. Students integrated facts and activities about Pi and circles into their lessons the week leading up to March 14th. All the activities were coordinated by math teachers. It helped students to explore 3, 1, and 4 as the three most significant figures of π in its decimal representation and math-related concepts.
