Indian Navy Day is celebrated on the 4th December to give Navy People every respect about their work for protecting the People of the Country. Indian Navy play an important role in safeguarding the Indian marine borders. Officially the first Indian Navy Day was celebrated in 1971, on December 4 after the Indo Pakistan war. They celebrated the day with a huge celebration and greetings because the Indian Navy successfully won over Pakistan Army an operation called Operation Trident.
To express honor and respect to our Indian Navy Our Rasbihari International School invited Commodore D R Syam VSM Indian Navy (Retired) for a guest lecture to share his magnificent and motivational experience with our students of Grade 6, 7 & 8. He served for almost 38 years. Served in Indian Naval warships INS Vikrant, INS Udaygiri, INS Kuthar as Chief Engineer. He was honored with Vishist Seva Medal by the President. Words shared by Commodore were majestic and impressive. Students posed their questions, it was a reciprocal session. He motivated students to pursue their careers in the Indian Armed Force.
