At Rasbihari International School, we recognize that parent involvement helps extend teaching outside the classroom, creates a positive experience for students and help them perform better when they are in school. ‘Coffee with Mom’ is one such event conducted by RIS for the students from Pre-Primary to grade 10. One mom is invited per class to interact with the students, where she shares her skills and experiences with them. The moms have appreciated this initiative and are happy to share their skills with the class.
On 24th February, we had different activities happening all around the classes. The super talented moms of RIS shared their learning and experience with the students in different genre.
Mrs. Preeti Joshi engaged tiny tots with number and color identification games. For Jr.kg. and Sr.kg- Mrs. Sangeeta Pawar and Mrs. Nutan Raut told some interesting stories, Mrs. Vrushali Take showcased craft activities, Mrs. Snehal Gaidhani performed yoga while Mrs. Pragati Aher mesmerized kids with her melodious voice. For primary students- Mrs. Rashmi Nahar, Mrs. Swati Sanjay Rode, Mrs. Sujata Deshmane, Mrs. Prajakta Bhoir, Mrs. Usha Deokant Sonawane occupied the students with craft, rangoli and decorative art work activities. Mrs. Shinde and Mrs. Sarika Khandave told interesting stories , Mrs. Moni Thakur and Mrs. Vidya Waghmare indulged students in fireless cooking, Mrs. Sheetal Patil showed table tricks while Mrs. Deepali Bagle shared information about internet. For secondary students- Mrs. Vidya Jawale engaged students with some dancing moves, Mrs. Yogita Chaure guided students with carrier development, Mrs Sushma Tidke discussed on how to work on having more concentration and Sonali Nikam decorated salad and told students about importance of salad.
It was indeed time spent well with all the moms sharing their wonderful learning with the students of RIS.
