    Observing the Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December — the day when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The document proclaims the rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being – regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. The day was celebrated by secondary students of Rasbihari International school by presenting information about the importance of human rights and the contribution of UN General Assembly towards humanity across the world. Students read poems and made a video showcasing the fundamental human rights. Ms. Geet Lodha from grade 6 read a poem, Ms. Arya pathak from grade 7 read a Hindi poem, Ms. Jheel Jadhav from grade 8 shared information on human rights followed by a video made by grade 8 students and Ms. Mrudvika Nasikkar from grade 10 gave a Speech on human rights. Students were guided and supported by their social science and language teachers. The entire activities across grades were coordinated by Mrs. Ragini Mishra
